Friday Night Games - Week Seven

Week 7 - from Tanya.
Hidden in this verse are 8 generic scrapbooking products. Your mission should you choose to accept it is to find these products and then use them to create a layout about scrapbooking. The names may be hidden in other words or have another letter or character between words.
"I was invited to a party with many guests whose names were hard to remember. I made a mental note. Who was Chip? Board stiff guy sitting in the corner. Brad had hair gel. penny ribbon in her hair. Leisa wore a shirt patterned, paper cup in her hand. Kerri wore a pink dress, but Tony stamped his feet to the music."
Vote for the winner (from the following layouts) at Scrapbook City FNG Week 7 ( <---click link).

EXILE ISLAND Challenge

This is an optional challenge for Week 7 - the Exile Island challenge. (This challenge is for the ten Reality Scrap survivors only, please.)

You CANNOT use anything from the Survival Kit and the challenge will be using the basics only.

Everyone who enters will receive one bonus point towards this week's score and one lucky entrant will secretly receive Hidden Immunity, via PM/email. This can be used when needed, any time up until Week 9. The winner of the Hidden Immunity need not tell anyone they have it.

The Exile Island Challenge - Sara

Requirements:

* Your layout CANNOT have patterned paper, however you may create your own patterned paper using cardstock, pens, pencils, paint or ink.

* Your layout CANNOT have any people in the photo, however it can have animals or misc objects.

* Your layout CANNOT have any glue or adhesive, however you are free to staple, sew, knot, weave, etc to keep the layout together.

Good luck, Survivors! It's not as hard (or mean) as it initially sounds!

A Head's Up.

This is my 3rd post, so it will make sense for you to read them in reverse order.

Just wanted to let you know that is true Saralicia fashion we are planning something for this week. All I am prepared to say now is that it will affect the results next Monday, so stay on your toes everyone.

Another twist. Week 7

First of all, please make sure you read the previous posts first. This blog goes in reverse order to what I would like.

Ok, here you go.

This is an optional challenge for Week 7 - the Exile Island challenge. (This challenge is for the ten Reality Scrap survivors only, please.)

You CANNOT use anything from the Survival Kit and the challenge will be using the basics only.

Email your layout to realityscrap@gmail.com (and put it in the Gallery if it is ready) by 11.59pm Thursday 22 March. These layouts will be scored/voted on by the Judges!

NB. Each Exile Island entrant still MUST complete the Week 7 Challenge also, to stay in the game. This is an optional challenge, not an alternative!

Week 7 Challenge

Righteo, let me start by saying that we seem to have a board again, but..... none of us are certain as to it's stability just yet, so being the nervous cautious peole we are, we are double posting both here and on the site. I suggest you hold off uploading too much over there until we know more.

Meanwhile I have a few things for you. This is going to be a HUGE week, with lots going on, so pay attention.

Your challenge:
This week your challenge is supplied by Tanya.

You may use any of the Fancy Pants papers for the Week 7 Challenge.

Requirements:

* Create a single LO with the title "DREAMED OF REALITY / MY REALITY".
* Must have 5 journalled points under each heading. The points must rebut each other eg: 1. To have no ironing ever 1. Having 2 big piles of ironing in baskets collecting dust.
* The title must be made using a random style.

**Random means that your letters are NOT matching. Each letter could be a different style, font, material size.

A reminder:
* All layouts and projects entered must be new and created specifically for this competition.
* You may not enter these layouts in any other competitions.
* You are free to display your layouts on blogs and submit them for publication.
* Unless stated otherwise for a particular challenge, all layouts must be your own original work, and may not be scraplifts of layouts or sketches.
* All layouts must be paper layouts. Digital layouts cannot be submitted.
* Unless stated otherwise, all layouts need to be either 12x12 or 8.5x11

Good luck and enjoy!

Please welcome to the others....

Sadly it is the time of the week where some players must move to the Others. The work being produced really is extraordinary, and it is so hard to reduce the numbers, but that's the way the game goes.

This week we are very sad to say Goodbye to
Sarah
from the Reality Scrap team, but we are happy to welcome her to the Others.

It should be two people going, but we have not heard from Beth, so she is the other person leaving the RS team.

Congratulations to our remaining top 10 players. You should be very proud of yourselves for making it this far. The competition is getting very tough now, and I can't wait to see what you do next.

A little reminder:
If you are an "Other" you must still complete and email your project every week or you are disqualified from the game, talking you out of the running for guest DT spots. Sadly a few people have been disqualified this week for this reason. Just becasue you are not in the RS team, does not mean you are not part of the game, but you must continue to submit your entries in order to continue.

Remember that there are still twists and turns in this game and things are not always as they seem. You don't want to miss a great opportunity. The number of eligible players remaining in the Others team has dwindled which is very disappointing, but at the same time it greatly increases the chances for the remaining players.

Check back in a little while. Sara will be back with your week 7 challenge, plus we will come back and post the current scores.

Friday Night Games - Week Six

Tonight's challenge is to make a THANK YOU card.

For the girls who had team mates, the card is to thank your team mate.
For the Others (who never had team mates), the card is to thank the most recent person who did something nice for you.... even it was your husband for bringing you a cup of coffee!

Your card must have:
* at least two folds (as apposed to the conventional single fold card)
* three buttons
* stitching - whether by hand or machine (any amount, needs to be visible)

Here's the hard part (mwahahaha!)....
Your card must CLEARLY be to thank someone, but it must NOT have the phrase "Thank You" on it!!! (NB. I didn't say it can't use those words, it just can't use the phrase!!) ;)

The cards can be seen at www.realityscrapbingo.blogspot.com.

This week's winner of FNG is...
Tracey (Sharnook)!!
Congratulations!

Week 6 challenge

Week 6 challenge.
-Provided by Alicia-
This week you need to off the page and create a project, not a layout. You are to use Chatterbox papers. Some are included in your kit. You may use ANY other additional products for this challenge.

Your task is to create an item that you would display on your fridge. It could either go on the front or the top of your fridge, your choice.

There are no additional requirements this week, but we are now half way through the contest and the competition is getting tough. You need to show innovation and originality in your project to shine above the other contestants. Let your imagination go wild.

You may need to provide additional photos for this challenge to show off your work. If possible, please combine your photos into one file. If you don't know how to do that, it's OK.

*As always, projects must be created brand new for this competition and must be your own original work.
*All entries are due by 11:59 Saturday night. Please email your entry to realityscrap@gmail.com

Week 6 twist.

It's time to shake things up a little, and of course we don't do things by halves. We see that you are maybe getting just a little too comfortable in your teams, and as you know we can only have one winner, so.....

From this point forward, all teams are dissolved and you are now playing solo. It's every girl for herself!

At this point I woould like to congratulate and thank you all for your conduct in your teams. As far as we can see, everyone has been incredibly supportive of their partner and have worked really well together. We hope that you have enjoyed this unique format for the game so far. We are looking forward to continuing to see your awesome creations for the rest of the game.

I'm So Sad to Say.....

.....it's time to go...

Chelle & Tish.

Thanks for playing with us and good luck in the Others. Make sure you keep playing along! ;)

Bethroid
Chellejamo
Annettel
